Finance Business Partner

My retail finance client based in Cardiff are looking for a part qualified candidate to join the business as a Finance Business Partner.

The role is split 50% analytical and 50% business partnering.

Client Details

The client is a mutli million turnover organisation in the Financial Services Sector.

They offer great progression and exposure to project work.

You will receive a salary between £26,000 and £35,000 with fully funded study support, 10% bonus and 5% pension.

Description

You will be responsible for:

• Set effective pricing for retail partners and develop pricing to tender for new business

• Assist with the development of Management Information, and support the monthly profitability reviews

• Develop analysis and insight to understand the performance of the lending portfolio

• Work with the commercial and credit risk teams to help build Retail partnerships, and develop new products options

• Create effective measures, controls, processes, and procedures to manage pricing and business risk

Key responsibilities:

- Pricing strategies

- Profitability models

- Assist with the development of models for new lending, and provide analysis to support model parameters

- Production of management information

- Pitching change to key stakeholders and key staff members

Profile

Ideal candidate:

- Analytical/enquiring mind

- Advanceed excel skills

- Minimum of 3 years' finance experience

- Ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA

- Ability to communicate effectively is PARAMOUNT for this role
