Description
Key responsibilities of the successful Accounts Assistant include:
- Raising and posting invoices
- Reporting to senior finance managers
- Working with directors to resolve invoice queries
- Posting transactions in multiple currencies
- Interfacing between the AP/AR Supervisor and the Financial Controller
- Assisting in preparation of month end
- Bank reconciliations
- Ledger reconciliations
- Ad hoc finance duties as required
Profile
The successful Accounts Assistant will be:
- Studying AAT
- Have invoicing experience
- Have reconciliation experience
- A good understanding of AP/AR processes
- Ideally experience posting multi-currency transactions
- Ambitious with a desire to progress
- Attentive with an eye for detail
- Numerate and confident working with spreadsheets and numerical data
- A team play and effective communicator
