The role will report directly to the COO and will cover managment reporting, statutory accouting, regulatory reporting and compensation analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial control of the Avalon group of companies
  • Preparation of timely management information
  • Management of the external audit process
  • Understanding of UK GAAP accounting policies and new financial and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Production of GAAP compliant financial statements
  • Production of ICAAP reporting
  • Oversight of treasury and liquidity reporting
  • Providing management with adhoc financial analysis as required
  • One direct report

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Degree educated
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar)
  • Technical knowledge of UK GAAP and regulatory reporting
  • Ability to work tight deadlines
  • Experience within financial services, specifically brokerage, is essential.
