Kelly Services is seeking to engage with an experienced UX Designer for one of our Federal Government Clients based in Canberra Central. The successful candidate will be engaged for 6 months and will be providing user centred design and research strategies for a large and complex knowledge management repository.
Key Accountabilities:
Embed UX design considerations in the Operational Blueprint as part of the Operating Model
Develop design ideas and basic concepts into fully worked out design solutions, including sketching, concept creation and wire framing, producing user flows and creating prototypes
Undertake UX research sessions and testing with end users and stakeholders to create actionable design insights
Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations
Collaborate with the Product Owner, service delivery, business teams and other external roles to define the experience and champion the user
Criteria for Selection:
Demonstrated experience in working in a design team environment
Demonstrated understanding and application of user experience design principles and interaction design skills
Demonstrable understanding and interest in the field of digital experience design and disruption
Understanding of the application of user research and testing to inform and validate the design process
Technical skills that allow you to talk and understand capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, Javascript is a plus
Demonstrated research skills, such as Field research, User interviews, User testing planning & facilitation
Demonstrated understanding of skills such as Metrics gathering & analysis, Information architecture, Taxonomy creation & Usability
