As Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for implementing the new IFRS 16 Leases standard as well as making improvements to the Annual Report.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing IFRS 16 Leases across the group
- Drafting disclosures for year-end
- Reviewing the existing Group IFRS policies in the Annual Reporting Accounts - this will involve liaising extensively with the external auditors as well as the Group Financial Reporting team
- Redrafting the remuneration section of the the Annual Reporting Accounts in preparation for year-end
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced and prestigious business based in Kent. There is the possibility to work in London a couple of days a week if preferred.
Profile
To apply for this role you must be a Qualified Accountant and preferably have qualified in a large practice firm. Previous experience within a plc would be useful.
You must be able to demonstrate experience of accounting under or implementing IFRS.
You should be available to start this role at short notice.
