As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the new IFRS 16 Leases standard as well as taking responsibility for monthly process improvement work.

Description
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the implementation of IFRS 16 Leases across the group
- Drafting disclosures for year-end
- Driving the implementation of Internal Financial Controls, working with various key stakeholders around the business
- Identify process improvements for certain subsidiaries and seeing these through to completion
This is an exciting project based role working within a highly efficient and technically strong finance team.
Profile
To apply for this role you must be a Qualified Accountant. A background within audit or internal controls would be useful. You must be able to demonstrate experience of financial controls and processes and have experience of accounting under IFRS.
This is a temporary to permanent role. Ideally you will be available to start the role at short notice.
Job Offer
£33-£42,000 equivalent, initially on a day rate for the first 6 months
