Head of Finance

Argo is looking for a Head of Finance​, who will flourish in a rapidly growing public company. Based in Central London, reporting to the President, the Head of Finance will take full responsibility for all financial reporting requirements of our publicly listed entity. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining strong internal controls for accurate and timely reporting, and for ensuring all external reporting requirements are met.

Other responsibilities include:

● Design and implement procedures to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately captured and accounted for under IFRS as adopted by EU
● Oversee all financial matters to ensure that there is consistency in recording and reporting transactions, including the parent company and its existing and future subsidiaries
● Compile annual and quarterly financial statements, and ensure the MD&A are drafted with the input and approval of the relevant executives, regarding disclosures
● Control the annual external audit
● Handle all regulatory matters related to Argo
● Liaise with the company registrar, maintain the internal companies’ registers and companies’ house records
