This is a new hire within the UK Finance team based in London. The individual's primary responsibility is to prepare the Financial/Board Reporting for all UK entities and Individual Capital Adequacy Assessment Process ("ICAAP") forecasts for the UK regulated entities. The individual will assist the UK Finance Director in oversight and governance responsibilities including those for outsourced activity and will gain exposure to all aspects of finance. They will help maintain a robust reporting and control environment to reduce risk whilst aiding business development.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Produce the quarterly financial board reports for all UK entities including executive commentaries.
• Complete the quarterly ICAAP financial forecasts for the regulated UK entities including the Asset Management and Brokerage businesses, working closely with the Capital team.
• Assist in the oversight management and review of UK statutory accounts, board reports, audits including analysis of results and communication materials focusing on key business factors driving financial performance.
• Research and resolve accounting/business transactions and reporting issues, where some expertise is required to interpret and or highlight policy, guidelines and/or processes issues.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all financial reporting systems and demonstrate the ability and the desire to knowledge share.
• Project engagement and working on cross-function and location processes providing value added analysis.
• Recommend and work to implement process improvements identified in day to day work.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

• Part-qualified Accountant or graduate with related work experience in a multi-currency Financial Services environment.
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) are required to perform analysis and communicate financial information to various constituents.
• Analytical and problem solving skills are required to evaluate financial results and projections.
• Understanding of accounting, reporting and financial control requirements would be beneficial.
• Highly motivated individual who has the ability to work to tight deadlines.
