Financial Accountant (6 Month Contract)

The Opportunity

Fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure within a well known house hold name and to help alleviate the teams work load.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the general ledger including timely res of balance sheet accounts
  • Assisy the financial control manager for accounting and monthly GL close
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations and transactions
  • Liase with business, head office and auditors with SOX

About You
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a financial control/and or reporting role
  • Banking/Financial Services experience
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding and interpretation of accounting standards (AASBs)
