Job Description
Job Summary:
\t\tThis role sits in the Sydney team who service Investment Managers based in Australia and global Managers based in Hong Kong. The primary role of the Assistant Manager will be the co-ordination and efficient management of inquiries that is received by the team.
Roles And Responsibilities:
\t\tOwn the more complex Investment Manager relationships
\t\tAct as a first level escalation point
\t\tDevelop coach train and support your team to achieve quality and productivity targets
\t\tAssist the manager in effectively managing a high performing team
\t\tBe actively involved in project and/or new client onboarding
\t\tResponsible for more complex issue resolution and provide assistance in resolving complicated issues
\t\tMonitor aged queries and work to resolve in a timely manner
\t\tIdentify and communicate systematic/recurring issues to management and work together for process improvement
\t\tEstablish and maintain strong relationships with other business units to ensure client satisfaction through seamless and accurate processing
\t\tSupport organisational change/initiatives by leading the team and championing the changes
\t\tBecome subject matter experts constantly discover and organise new skills/knowledge and disseminate to team members
\t\tDrive team engagement and morale
\t\tEnsure all SOPs are followed to reduce company risk exposure while demonstrating initiative in reviewing current SOPs to eliminate duplication of effort identify potential risk areas and implement best practice recommendations
Qualifications:
\t\tThis role will ideally suit a dynamic and experienced client service people leader from a Custody background. Working with an allocated client base this role will allow you to demonstrate your outstanding relationship management experience by providing the highest level of customer service to a local and global Asset Managers.
\t\tTo be considered for this role you should be able to successfully demonstrate:\t\t
\t\t\t\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\t\t\t\tAbility to take ownership and initiative with a can do attitude
\t\t\t\tPeople leadership experience
\t\t\t\t3- 5 years post undergraduate professional experience preferably in financial operations/custody services
\t\t\t\tOutstanding client servicing and relationship management skills
\t\t\t\tFluent speaking reading and professional writing skills in English
\t\t\t\tExcellent organisational planning and execution skills including the ability to prioritise and multi-task under time constraints
\t\t\t\tDemonstrate ability to meet Service Level Expectations
