Full Stack Developer
Our client, a leading government department, is seeking to appoint an experienced Full Stack Developer to work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team. This role will require you to contribute to the development of software, web and multimedia applications that facilitate achievement of business outcomes and improve business efficiencies and processes through the leverage of technology.
Key Accountabilities
Full Stack developer with minimum 5 years of experience in J2EE environment responsible for design, development, testing, deploying and support of software development. Strong user interface programming experience is a must.
Assist the team with the maintenance of product backlogs
Understand business requirements
Follow the team's development process
Develop, maintain and enhance the source code for the Project
Complete development activities by agreed timelines
Key Skills
Proven experience developing throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Standards
Proficiency in application eerver environment JBoss 6.1
Demonstrates a high level of experience within:
Web front-end technologies including CSS, Javascript, SASS, JSP, JSTL, AJAX, Spring MVS, etc.
EJB3, Hibernate and Spring Core
Database design preferably Oracle 11g or SQL
Versioning, release/deploy management using various tools such as Maven, Bamboo, Subversion and Git
jQuery and Bootstrap
Project
Agile Greenfield Project - Web application Project. The Project is currently half way through the development of the web application with the second major release to take place in the next few weeks.
The successful candidate would be working within a small agile software development team consisting of 5 developers, a business analyst, a test analyst and a project manager.
