My client is a growing property management company in Birmingham specialising in high quality commercial developments and residential apartments. They are a fast-paced and growing SME in Birmingham with a modern mindset, flexible approach and relaxed culture.

Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

- Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company

- Reviewing financial data and preparing monthly and annual reports
- Staying up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes

- With the aid of the team, ensure all accounts & budgets are fully prepared and delivered on time.
- Maintaining accurate and timely tracking of accounts and budget status.
- Business partner the property team and build strong relationships
- Drive the business development including bid support and new development mobilisation.

- Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company as well as adding value
- Embed improved processes as developed by the wider Accounting team & Business Improvement Projects.

Profile

Candidates must have;
* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) with extensive accounting experience
* Effective presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous property management experience is not essential
