On behalf of our client, AMS are looking for a Remuneration Analyst for a 6 month contract based in London.
As part of the statutory year end process, we are required to collect, collate and validate and report on emoluments of directors. This process involves complicated data input and manipulation of data and has previously resulted in SOX control issues and risk to the annual year end reporting process. In order to mitigate these risks a temp with proven data base and accuracy skills is needed to undertake these activities in conjunction with Secretariat and HR who will provide support. This temp is required for the preparatory and publication period for the year end report and accounts (Oct 2018 to March 2019)
This role will involve receiving high level of detail / confidential information on directors remuneration, benefits, emoluments. They will receive this information from three sources… HR team, tax team and the Madrid office. This could involve 130 director's data.
Once the information is received they will be required to check and review the information ensure the three parties have delivered the information, and then transfer it into an excel spreadsheet, this is then transferred onto a particular template as provided by PWC, which the directors are then to sign off.
They will be required to ensure/chase for the required information to populate the spreadsheet on time, and then also ensure no slippage ,delays and also to flag any issues . They will also be required to ensure the directors have signed these off , and if not will be required to chase. So must be vigilant in their approach and robust in character to ensure they get what is needed to get the job completed on time.
Our top evaluation criteria for candidates will be:
- Experience of remediation/analysis role working with director level remunerations ie pensions,salary, incentives, bonuses , benefit
- Previous role experience where have completed the conversion of remuneration information into an accounting format.
- Extremely proficient in excel , experience of similar role demonstrates this
