Description
The key responsibilities of this Financial Controller position are as follows:
- Work closely with the team to ensure that the P&L, cash flow and working capital are completed to a high standard
- Work to improve financial controls
- US GAAP reporting requirements
- Responsible for analysis of performance and helping to improve profitability
- Business partner with regional leaders and operational stakeholders to become a face of finance to the wider business
- Management of the budgeting and forecasting process
- Month end and statutory accounts duties
- Provide support to the senior management team with the remit to help to grow the business
- Support the FP&A and commercial teams
Profile
The successful candidate for this Rochdale based Financial Controller role will be:
- A fully qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA - no qualified by experience candidates will be considered unfortunately
- A confident communicator able to business partner with a range of senior stakeholders
- Ideally have some exposure to SAP - or an SAP implementation
- Able to work on excel to an advanced level
- A team player who is able to work collaboratively as well as part of a team
- Able to build relationships with none - finance members of staff
- A qualified accountant with experience of working in the manufacturing or distribution sectors
- A technically strong accountant with US GAAP reporting experience
- Able to add value and think in a commercial manner
Job Offer
This Rochdale based Financial Controller role can offer a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience.
