Credit Controller

A growing company in the heart of Watford are seeking a Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. Full time position offering a competitive salary and a stable working environment.

You will have your own set of clients to manage and work in a small Credit Control team and report into a hands on Credit Manager who is happy to train you.

My client are a local manufacturing organisation who are rapidly growing and partner with companies all over the UK and beyond. Their Head office is based in the heart of Watford where this role will be based, sitting within a small Credit Control team and managing your own set of clients.

Description

• Responsible for your own set of clients across the UK
• Responsible for the banking and allocation of client cheque payments
• Building relationships with your key clients in order to chase debts efficiently
• Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days
• Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements
• Allocating payments
• Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations
• Assisting your Manager with anything she may need

Profile

• A background in Credit Control is essential
• Proficient with Excel is essential
• Proficient with Tempest is ideal but not essential
• Team player who is happy to learn and muck in
• Hard working person who is able to prioritise
• Strong communication skills
