Financial Analyst

As Financial Analyst, working within a dynamic and friendly team, you will be responsible for the budgeting process, as well as analysing variances and discussing results with budget holders. You will also be involved in month-end duties.

Description

As Financial Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Preparing the budget, analysing variances and discussing the results with budget holders
• Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports
• Developing product margin models to ensure gross margin optimisation
• Developing the budgeting, forecasting and business planning models

A large part of this role at the outset will be heavily responsible for the budgeting process. Thereafter a majority of your time will be spend on heavy analytical work and the remainder on month-end duties.

Profile

You will be a Qualified candidate, available immediately or at short notice.

You must have a background or at least some exposure in the retail sector. This is a role where you will be liaising with various Heads across the business, so good communication skills and a positive approach to work is key.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of budgeting and in-depth analysis.

Job Offer

c. £45,000 but possibly more dependent on experience

The client will also consider someone working on a limited company basis.
