Financial Accountant

Page Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a brilliant, global organisation based in Liverpool. Reporting into the FC, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for month end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and analysing large amounts of data.

Description

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Completing monthly VAT returns
• Work closely with stakeholders across finance to ensure reconciliations are correct
• Cash flow reporting
• Assisting with internal/external auditors, when required
• Intercompany bank reconciliations
• Improve technical accounting systems and reporting methods

Profile

• Experience in a similar Financial Accountant position
• Good understanding of transactional finance, balance sheet reconciliations and year end accounts
• Must be ACCA, CIMA or ACA part qualified
• Technical, analytical, problem solving mind set
• Strong IT and Excel skills
• Good time management, organisation and communication skills
