We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our In-House Group Tax Team in the UK / EU whose primary role is to provide a high quality in-house tax service to group companies in Europe and UK.

A well established technology business in High Wycombe.
Description
You will manage all aspects of the Group's tax compliance processes with the assistance of two Tax Accountants, as well as assisting with variety of ad hoc tax advice and project work.
Responsible for managing the tax compliance obligations in UK and Europe (e.g. corporate tax returns, tax computations and papers to support filing positions, periodic VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales List)
Prepare, reconcile and submit all indirect tax returns (VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales Lists)
Undertaking the Group tax accounting provisions on a monthly/quarterly basis, and budget tax forecasts
Working with finance teams and subsidiaries to ensure tax is correctly disclosed in the Group's IFRS statutory accounts and in the subsidiaries' accounts.
Preparation of yearly tax provisions and associated notes for inclusion in the accounts
Monitoring the Group's overseas corporation tax obligations in liaison with the country finance teams and external service providers
Assisting with employment tax compliance and calculation of liabilities under the PAYE Settlement Agreement.
Identifying qualifying R&D EC projects, preparing R&D EC reports and credit claims
Maintaining effective processes and controls in the tax compliance cycle
Ensuring that the Senior Accounting Officer requirements are met and preparing a report to meet the annual filing obligations
Assisting with preparation of transfer pricing documentation
Maintaining good relationship with HMRC
Profile
Proven track record within in-house tax whilst leading an inexperienced team.
Systems experience of HFM and Advanced Excel would be highly beneficial.
You must hold a Professional tax and/or accounting qualification e.g. CTA, ACA/ACCA, or equivalent.
Exposure to a global multi-jurisdictional environment.Job Offer
