Senior Commercial Finance Manager - Logistics

A commercially and operationally focused FP&A/Business Partnering role, working very closely with Operations yet driving the relationship with the client whilst reporting into Central Function

Our client is a leading logistics provider who boast well-established and FTSE listed businesses as part of their client portfolio. This business are are very much focused on providing their customer with the highest quality end to end service.

Description

This is a commercially and operationally focused role, working very closely with Operations yet driving the relationship with the client whilst reporting into Central Function.

You will be responsible for managing the day to day financial and commercial decision making across three sites alongside the General Manager of each site. You will be accountable to a portfolio of customers in which you will provide open book accounting and FP&A to them. This is a progressive role with lots of growth potential to acquire new contracts and drive the business forward.

** Please be advised that whilst you will be predominantly based out of their main site in Derby, this role will require light travel to other sites across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire **

Profile

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Strong supply chain & logistics experience
• A proven business partner and whist client facing experience is not essential, it would be highly advantageous
• Experience in managing and developing teams
• Experience of developing relationships with with Operations and other non-finance stakeholders
