My client is seeking a driven Financial Reporting Manager to join a division of a listed business

Description
- Acting as the Financial Controllers number two
- Directly line manage 1 qualified finance analyst
- Responsible for supporting the wider financial control team
- successful individual will be responsible for financial control including month end, financial reporting, planning, working capital management and ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and associated reconciliations.
- As a separate legal entity the Financial Reporting Manager will be involved in production of the statutory accounts for the division
- Liaison with external auditors
- Responsible for integrating a recently acquired business and ensuring processes are standardised
- Oversight of transactions affecting accounts receivable and cash including review meetings with outsourced functions
- Monitoring and reporting on working capital employed in the business and cash flow results.
- Providing reporting on areas of responsibility as needed to the FC, FD, leadership team and other divisions
- Feeding into the forecasting process and working across the team to help deliver the wider team's objectives.
- Working across the finance team to improve the understanding of business results and establish efficient analysis methods/tools
- Helping to deliver better results through improved processes and procedures and putting in place documentation where it is needed.
- Manages a team of dedicated off-shore resource supporting accounts payable, billing, and RP&A.
- To lead bi-annual forecasting process including production of mid-term plans and in-year updates as required.
- To manage ongoing financial systems optimisation.
- To continually drive quality improvement, efficiency, and thereby cost reduction against all of the above processes functions.
- Business partnering with customers and support services
Profile
- Degree level or equivalent.
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc)
- Experience in a Financial Control environment, with sound technical knowledge
- Commercially aware
- Experience of Hyperion/ Essbase financial systems desirable, but not essential.
Job Offer
Up to £55,000 plus car allowance, bonus, pension and private health
