Trainee Accountant

Title:  Trainee Accountant Department:  Finance Location:  Carlow As Netwatch continues to expand its business globally, we continue to look for the best to support strategic business decisions. Netwatch is looking for an ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their busy Finance Team.  This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring accountant to join a growing international business.  Reporting to the Financial Controller your primary responsibilities will be preparing statutory returns, reconciling balance sheet accounts and supporting the monthly reporting process.  A strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines consistently and to work well under pressure is a must.  This is a full-time role, working hours are 8:00am to 5:30 pm. Key Responsibilities Preparation of CSO returns Preparation of Revenue returns Balance Sheet reconciliations Support the interim and annual audit process Support the monthly management accounts process Work on Finance projects as required Key Requirements Relevant 3rd level qualification (minimum 2.1 honours degree) Intention to pursue an accounting qualification (ACCA / ACA or equivalent) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Wants to work in a fast-paced, energised, self-starter environment A flexible approach to work and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office essential Company Overview: The Netwatch Group will focus on leading the consolidation of the proactive visual monitoring industry.
