Page Personnel are currently recruiting an Assistant Financial Accountant for a Global, FTSE 100, manufacturing and production business based in Ripon.

Due to internal promotions, this client is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant into one of their supportive, talented finance departments. As an ACCA/CIMA credited training business, this is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate studying towards professional accounting qualifications that is looking to progress.

Description

As an Assistant Financial Accountant you will be reporting into the qualified Financial Accountant, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Manage the month end input, Reconciliation & analysis of balance sheet accounts, Attendance and agenda setting at the monthly update meetings held with key personnel and directors, Assist with half year and year end statutory reporting requirements regarding property information and disclosures, Collate information for the preparation of the annual insurance renewal and corporation tax pack, Review work completed by junior colleagues, Pro actively identify and assist with implementation of process improvements and Involvement in technical ad hoc projects.

Profile

• Studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
• Have completed reconciliations
• Be comfortable dealing with non-finance people
• Be able to think commercially
