Credit Controller

A market leading international logistics company is working alongside Hesketh James to find a top quality credit controller of whom will be dealing with a diverse array of multinational clients. The contract is initially covering a twelve month maternity leave but there is a strong possibility for it to go perm if you are successful.

In this role you will be managing the sales ledger by securing balances that fail to be paid through contacting customers via telephone and email. The role also involves reconciling outstanding customer balances, monitoring and maintaining of the ledger in addition to resolving complex queries. You will work with different departments and branches to solve problem balances to keep the ledger running smoothly. Ideally you will have experience of dealing with both blue chip and SME's clients and be confident with a value ledger of around £6million.

To be successful in the role the candidate will be required to have strong numerical skills and be intermediate on excel to produce various reports along with high attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills are required along with a proactive approach. A minimum of 3 years' experience in credit control is required.
