Finance Manager/Management Accountant

Supporting the Managing Director and overseeing a small team, this is a broad and challenging role for an experienced Finance Manager to join this leading local business.

With a turnover of c£12m and national coverage, this is an exciting time to join the company as it sees continued growth and development. Due to retirement, this role offers a great opportunity for someone to put their mark on the Finance Manager position; initially to review processes and systems, and to implement new ways of working. You will work closely with operations and the manufacturing teams to provide valuable insight and meaningful financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within manufacturing and will be ACCA/CIMA qualified, however similar industry experience and someone part qualified/qualified by experience will be considered.

The Finance Manager role will include but not be limited to:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Year End accounts and liaison with auditors
• Fixed asset management
• Overseeing payroll for c 150 staff
• Aged debtor review and management
• FX deals
• Negotiation of utilities and facilities contracts
• Project management of new systems and processes
• Working closely with the management team
