This International Credit Controller role is responsible for all outstanding debt and payments across the UK and APAC regions from their central Cambridge offices

This is an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller with a proven track record in reducing aged debt and collecting across an international remit

Client Details

My Central Cambridge based Science and Research Industry client provides customers with a range of international solutions, currently operating from 20 countries and territories outside of the UK with expansive growth plans backed up through strong investment

Description

  • Actively chasing clients/customers for outstanding monies via telephone/email
  • Processing, monitoring and controlling all sales ledger transactions
  • Dealing with/Resolving all Invoice queries from clients/colleagues
  • Assisting / liaising with suppliers and contractors on a daily basis
  • Make necessary authorised payments to suppliers/contractors and answer queries thereon
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly aged debt reports/statements/analysis

Profile

Required experience and characteristics of the desired Credit Controller;

  • A strong background in a similar role with a proven track record in collecting debt (Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger / Credit Control)
  • Developing good working relationships with colleagues
  • Extremely well-organised, methodical and efficient, and able to use initiative
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take proactive ownership of assigned duties
  • Discreet, professional and client facing, with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Planning and organising: The ability to multi-task, supporting more than one individual when necessary, meet deadlines and manage workload in an efficient and timely manner
  • Possess; a positive telephone manner, organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, friendly and confident
  • IT literate to intermediate standard in the systems used in an office, including Excel and Word
  • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks
