An opportunity to work for a leading membership organisation in Central London providing management information and financial controls to the wider senior leadership team. Broad reporting, high levels of organisation and reconciliations experience are essential.

Description

  • To assist the finance team in providing timely and accurate management information for the organisation, including budget preparation and preparation and review of annual and monthly management accounts
  • Oversee month end processes including all reconciliations
  • Provide financial advice to faculties and be responsible for consolidating financial statements into the organisations statutory accounts
  • Preparation of complex VAT returns including fully VATable, partial and exempt items
  • Line management and development of a small team
  • Overseeing multiple technical consolidations

    • Profile

    • Must be a CCAB qualified accountant
    • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and delegate
    • Must have managed others previously
    • Must have proven experience of the month end process including balance sheet reconciliations
    • VAT knowledge
    • Good systems knowledge including Great Plains or other similar system
