We are proud to be supporting our US owned and Leicestershire based client in looking for a Finance Manager. This is a very exciting role which will see you working closely with the Plant Manager and reporting to the European Finance Director based off site.
With this being a stand alone and strategic Finance Manager role you will need to be a qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have good technical skills including working knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes Oxley).
In addition you will need to demonstrate the ability to both support and challenge the management team in striving to develop and grow the business via quality information and reporting.
As the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
Ensuring reporting requirements and deadlines are met whilst ensuring accurate and detailed analysis
Month end reporting per corporate schedule requires focus
Ensuring quarterly estimates are created
To ensure Sarbox (Sarbanes Oxley) requirements are adhered to
Support production/plant managers with analytical information
Maintain standard costing system and detailed weekly review of variances
To ensure detailed review and analysis of Inventory, ensuring no risk of stock loss by regular cycle count
Ensuring full review of Profit and Loss account, in particular cost centres
To complete ad-hoc reports and statistics
To maintain the financial integrity of the accounting data
Supporting closing of legal statutary accounts
Playing a key support role for internal LTA and CER processes
To work with the Site Team to optimise working capital within Company guidelines
This is a genuine opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in worldwide established business who are increasing their site presence in the UK.
This person will have a minimum 5 years of experience of working within finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) experience will be very useful and on offer is a very competitive salary but more so the opportunity to add value to what is a very strategic position within the business.
