Business Analyst

River Rd, Rosemont, Illinois 60018 Position Overview: The Business Analyst-Project Manager is responsible for managing projects and performing analysis of business process, applications, and systems. These applications include Forecasting, Order Fulfillment, HR, and other business initatives. The position will also be responsible for developing and creating business requirements, documentation, and project plans. This individual will write and update status reports for projects, share with users and departmental management. Additionally, this position will be need to provide critical metrics on processes and assist in reviewing performance analysis to help business leaders make more intelligent and data-driven decisions. Essential Functions: Knowledge of various project management methodologies including Kanban, Critical Path Method (CPM), Integrated Project Management (IPM) and others. Develop business requirements based on user needs and translate into technical documents for development teams, management projects work plans, and tracking project resources. Manage project, user, and technical team meetings. Understand business and system processes. Analyze different business metrics and conduct gap analysis and process optimization. Strong analytical, organization and communication skills accompanied by flexibility to quickly adapt in a fast paced, changing environment. Create both user, work flow, and technical documentation. Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above. Working Environment: Work in an office environment. Minimum Specifications: Fluent in the use of various project management tools and methods. 5-7 years' experience as a business analyst. Managed both small and larger cross departmental projects. Clear and strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent time management and problem solving skills Strong operational and development knowledge using Business Intelligence tools a plus. Experiencing with data measuring, analytics and reporting. Working experience in business forecasting in consumer products in a wholesale or distribution business a plus. College degree required. Experience in ERP, Forecasting, Warehouse Management and customer service. SDL2017
