EMPLOYER: First Data Merchant Services LLC TITLE: Senior Business Analyst LOCATION: Hunt Valley, Maryland DUTIES: Analyze business needs of Credit Risk clients and stakeholders to help identify business problems, propose business solutions, and manage project implementations. Ensure compliance and drive project requirements. Participate in business planning, needs analysis, and business risk assessment. Responsible for scheduling, risk and issue management, scope change management, and building process flows. Lead process redesign and consult with customer on how to best support their area through the effective use of current technology. Conduct credit risk and fraud monitoring using Actimize. Liaise between business side of an enterprise and the IT department or external service providers. Perform demand and project management using Clarity. Apply analytical skills and communicate business wants/needs in a clear and unambiguous manner. Create workflows and checklists using RCM designer. Handle UML use cases and utilize AML and RTM. Focus primarily on Functional Requirements that describe what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business requirements. Drive complex, high priority projects or component phases of larger programs. Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure. REQTS: Must have Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Management, Engineering (any) or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, as a Consultant, Business Analyst, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Credit Risk with: compliance; driving project requirements; scheduling; risk and issue management; scope change management; credit risk and fraud monitoring using Actimize; demand and project management using Clarity; building process flows; creating workflows and checklists using RCM designer; UML use cases; AML; and RTM. .
