Payroll Officer

A successful and highly professional organisation based in the Warrington area is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brand new role within the organisation and is ideal for a candidate who is keen to learn new policies and processes. This opportunity is working for a global organisation who are highly regarded within their industry sector, there is significant scope for development as the company continue to grow.

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for:

• Setting up new starters and leavers, maintaining employee details
• Assisting with the full payroll preparation process
• Experience/Knowledge of P11ds, P60’s
• Calculating employee expenses and overtime
• Producing payroll reports for senior management
• Handling payroll enquiries

Essential Requirements are:

• Experience within a payroll environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Willing to learn new processes and procedures
• Experience of P11d’s, P60’s
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider Finance function
