The role
The Compliance Coordinator is a member of the Engineering Services team at Cabrini Health. They are required to work individually and in cooperation with other engineering team members to deliver outstanding customer service to Cabrini Health clients and staff within the framework of the mission & values of Cabrini Health and the "Behaviours that Matter" and the Cabrini Engineering ISO9001:2014 Quality Management System (QMS). The Compliance Coordinator reports to the Engineering Services Manager and is based at (but not limited to) our Malvern campus. Health care engineering is multi faceted and involves compliance with a wide range of standards, regulations and guidelines in addition to the requirements of our QMS.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination, development and maintenance of the Cabrini Engineering QMS, other engineering compliance activities and waste management systems, procedures and protocols. The position is also responsible for implementing processes and taking necessary initiatives that will assist the Cabrini Engineering team to meet the quality objectives and compliance in relation to maintenance and WHS requirements.
This is a complex and varied role that requires strong process based thinking skills, including aspects such as QMS and risk management. You will be flexible in your approach and be willing to participate as required. The successful applicant will work as an integral part of a strong team to enable us to improve our service delivery in a not for profit health care engineering environment.
The role commences as 0.4 FTE, with a view to moving to full time after a suitable time period.
