Associate – Infrastructure Finance (Major global bank), New York City

THE FIRM One of the world’s largest and most prominent Project Finance platforms, our client has deployed more than $20bn in Americas Infrastructure & Energy projects in the last decade and continues to develop its presence. Based in NYC, the Head of Infrastructure Finance is looking to hire a talented and ambitious Senior Analyst/Junior Associate to increase the capacity of the team and enable it to meet expanding budgetary targets in the years to come. THE ROLE Transaction support to the relevant deal team leader on advisory and arranging mandates, to include: Build and run financial models as necessary Review and structuring of project documentation Review of due diligence reports Credit analysis and assistance with preparation of credit applications Obtain all necessary internal consensus and credit approvals Preparation of presentations to clients and other banks Origination and marketing support including: Research (including working with the bank’s information resources) Preparation of marketing documentation and participation in presentations. Participate in the development and maintenance of client relationships i.e. visiting clients with senior bankers to deliver pitches Liaise with other banks to explain deal structures and aid in sell down and syndication of loans Keep up with industry trends THE CANDIDATE Two to four years experience’ in a related field such as banking or the infrastructure industry Financial modelling and presentational skills and essential Customer relationship management and marketing skills Knowledge of project and corporate finance structures, coupled with the ability to develop innovative solutions for the client Excellent analytical and numerical skills most likely honed within a scientific-based degree such as Physics, Engineering, or Economics Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills in English Strong interest in the Infrastructure industry Cashflow or valuation modelling experience Fluency in Spanish is an advantage, but not a requirement If you are interested in the position and satisfy all of the essential criteria, please send your CV and a covering note to giuseppina.abbateone-search.com Great opportunity to work on some of the biggest and most groundbreaking Infra deals in the Americas market - looking for Analyst/Associate with a passion for Infra and excellent financial modelling skills
