Commercial Finance Manager

You will be responsible for understanding and driving improvements in commercial performance, delivering high quality insight to senior stakeholders to challenge and hold them to account.

Description

• Driving delivery of the 2018 plan in partnership with Senior Stakeholders using a combination of insight and challenge

• Providing guidance to help mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities

• Interpreting and communicating trends within financial data

• Business partner Stakeholders, providing governance and challenge to drive performance

• Create and present ad hoc analysis broadly across operations

• Help to provide direction for Retail commercial analyst team, stepping on analytical output and value creation

• Play a key role in Digital Finance, helping the team and business unlock the significant benefits of new technology

• Play an integral role in the Retail Finance planning process

• Play a key role in creation, consolidation and updates to monthly Retail pack

Profile

• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification required

• Experience in influencing commercial agenda and decision making

• Ability to build and maintain exceptional customer relationships

• Confident and pro-active with the ability to challenge and influence at a senior level

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Good commercial awareness
