Job Purpose:

To provide ongoing support to the Securities Finance division in all EMEA borrower legal negotiations, borrower system set-ups and compliance/risk administration. To assist Product Development implement new markets, processes and products into a live environment. Dealing with broker queries and working closely with traders and Borrower Credit Departments to resolve and increase availability.

Responsibilities:

Legal documentation:

• Documentation oversight & control of borrower legal documents for Agency Lending program: e.g. Master Lending agreements, tri-party collateral agreements.

• Legal documentation repository, negotiations, implementation and safe keeping

Control:

• Borrower and Client set-up requests

• Repository of borrower coding information

• Global One (Securities Lending trading system) restrictions and amendments

Compliance/Risk/Audit/regulations:

• Periodical regulatory reporting

• Support of audit reviews

Projects:

• Supporting Onboarding and set-up of new products

• Support the analysis regulatory impact to Securities Finance business

Other responsibilities:

• Conducts analyses and reporting in support of general business operations and planning activities.

• Gathers, organizes and reviews operational data/metricsto analyze data.

• Extrapolates and complies analyses for use in reports or presentations.

• Communicates effectively with technical and business staff.

• Develops and delivers both informational and decision-seeking reports, analyses and/or presentations.

• Stays abreast of organization and function operations and gains familiarity with company practices relevant to metrics, performance indicators, reporting protocols, etc.

• Participates on project teams, providing analytical support to achieve project objectives.

• No direct reports.

• Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Technical Skills, Knowledge, Systems Knowledge (and associated skill level)

• Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required

• Some Securities Lending and collateral management experience is preferred, or some general Investment Services industry experience is required

• Legal experience maybe beneficial however is not a requirement

• Organised, with demonstrated project management skills

• Attentive to detail

• Professional

• Very good communication skills

• Persistent and resilient

• Forward thinking, and not afraid to suggest new ways of doing things

• Work produced consistently of high quality

• Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include advanced Excel

• Working knowledge of custody and securities lending systems is preferred.
