The Role
To support the Head of Finance with day to day operations & Financial reporting
requirements of Riyadh Branch.
- Control the expense process and fixed assets, including GL input into T24.
- Process all invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all payments leaving the Bank have the necessary authorizations obtained.
- Work together with other Departments/teams to apply annual expense budget, annual system related budget, and other budgets.
- Monitor the actual amount of expenses and implement measures for proper control of expense.
- Fully manage and own the RINGI process end to end within KSA ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Carry out flexible and value added planning by means of excellent communication across the MUFG business.
- Assist with monthly closing of accounts and annual Statutory audit process.
- Prepare all the financial reporting to Tokyo Head Office and the relevant Regulators, ( SAMA, and GAZT) and assistance in the development of the required reporting.
- Assist in defining HO JGAAP & USGAAP reporting requirements and procedures I conjunction with FP management.
- Assist in establishing a strong control framework to ensure that all reporting requirements are undertaken on a timely and accurate basis.
- Prepare and analyse the bank's financial data and communicate this data to FP management and compile reporting packs upon request.
- Assist in the development, implementation, drafting and monitoring of Finance policies, procedures and internal control systems.
- Deal with ad-hoc duties such as filing, processing and preparation of journals, system testing and ad-hoc project work as required or requested by the Head of Department.
- Coordinate and report tax related aspects for KSA. Prepare relevant tax returns for submission. Act as a tax SME within FP team.
- Act as Culture carrier for the Bank in leading by example and with a 'can-do' attitude.
The Candidate
Education
University Degree or equivalent (preferably with numerical focus)
Work Experience
2-3 years' previous experience in a similar role within a multi-national Bank in the Middle
East
Functional/Technical Skills and Knowledge requirements
- Excellent numerical skills
- A good understanding of IFRS and applicable Regulatory Financial Reporting
- requirements (ideally SAMA, , JGAAP, US GAAP)
- Good Excel skills
- Numerically competent
- Accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, SOCPA (part/fully qualified)
- A good understanding of local tax framework/concepts
