AVP - Treasury & Capital Management, 6 month contract

An exciting AVP opportunity has come up within a top-tier Corporate and Investment Bank, 6 month contract

Your new company
A leading global Corporate and Investment bank has a new AVP opportunity within the Capital Management team on a newly created headcount, on a contract basis.

Your new role
You will be responsible for legal entity capital planning and capacity allocation across the business for the international team, on top of your responsibility for providing short-term capital outlook processes for all the international business clusters. As an independent contributor to the team, you are expected to draw up capital management procedures as well.

You will work with other Treasury and technology departments to define and implement capital and Intra-group large exposure models, including accountability for constructing financial models methodologies and infrastructure. With your strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders, you will be the main point of contact to analyze model output and facilitate understanding of model results for non-technical partners in the business.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, the successful candidate has 5+ years of financial market experience in Treasury and/or Corporate & Investment Bank, with a strong understanding of capital management and capital regulatory landscape, as with:

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office in running complex models
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex matters in layman language
• Professional qualification or advanced degree in Finance
