An Accounts Officer position is available in this family run business, within the Healthcare industry, situated in the South-Eastern suburb of Frankston. This is a full time accounting role and will involve all aspects of financial accounting: AP, AR, Payroll, BAS, Budget Preparation, P&L statement and some taxation reporting.
This is a busy role which requires the ability to think proactively and have a strong attention to detail.
Accounting Responsibility
- General AP and AR
- Tax and payment compliance
- Payroll and superannuation
- Ensuring monthly compliance with statutory requirements, i.e. Payroll Tax, BAS, PAYG and Superannuation contributions
- Bank account management and reconciliation requirements
- Credit card expense management
- Assist in preparation of financial reports and analysis
- Daily reporting and monitoring
- EFT, Cheques processing
Key Selection Skills
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Tertiary Qualifications in accounting (CPA/CA not required)
- Strong computer skills around MYOB and MS Office
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively meet deadlines.
- Strong focus on detail
- Team oriented
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
