The Administrative Assistant will be required to provide a high level of administrative and accounting support to managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the department. Main Responsibilities: Prepare and process quotations Follow up on invoices from suppliers Considerable experience in Accounts Receivable Generate monthly and quaterly reports Screen telephone calls, incoming mail, publications, and other correspondence. General clerical and administrative duties Communicates with colleagues,clients,local and international clients in a Professional manner Maintain calendar and appointments of supervisor, including lodging and travel arrangements. Maintain accurate and detailed calendar of events, due dates, and schedules Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Certified Accounting Technician CAT or equivalent qualifications Minimum of five (5) CXC subjects of which MUST include Mathematics,English Language and at least One Science subject A minimum of three (2-3) years in an accounting / administrative environment would be an asset Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications The ability to multitask effectively with minimal supervision and in a team environment Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Dynamic and strong interpersonal skills Exceptional business and office etiquette knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing,photocopying etc knowledge of principles and practices of office management
