With revenues approaching £20m and EBITDA of c£2m, this client is readying itself for significant growth. From a very strong position in the market, they believe it will be possible to triple their profitability within the next 3 years.
The business is privately owned and provides end to end technology-based solutions for customers across the UK.
The Finance Director must be able to bring additional commercial and strategic bandwidth to the senior management team. They must also be an inspiring character who can lead the finance function whilst also maintaining a hands-on familiarity with the financial detail of the company.
The business is good at collecting and storing Big Data and a key part of the FDs role will be determining how that data can be better captured, structured and analysed to provide financial and commercial insights that will lead to nimbler and more strategic decision making.
The successful candidate will have experience in a business services / customer solutions environment and be able to demonstrate experience of adding significant commercial and strategic value from the development of accurate reporting and insightful MI.
Interpersonally, candidates must be credible, enthusiastic and well-rounded. You will be a confident communicator and able to develop relationships at every level within the organisation. As a member of the Senior Management Team you will also be a credible presence in customer and supplier conversations and negotiations.
The business is planning for strong, sustained and profitable growth. They are looking to invest in someone who will make a tangible difference to their performance and have a significant impact on the bottom line. The successful candidate will be incentivised accordingly.
