As Senior Financial Accountant you will provide support to the Financial Controller in the areas of month end, statutory reporting, balance sheet reviews, reporting to shareholders and getting involved in projects. Description

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Month end/quarter end procedures
• Inter company reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Understanding of fixed asset reconciliations
• Preparing payments for pensions
• Assisting the Audits
• Raising payments
• Posting journals
• Monitoring CAPEX expenditure
• VAT returns
• PROJECTS - there are a lot of opportunities for you to get involved in a variety of projects

Profile

The successful Senior Financial Accountant will:

• Hold an ACA qualification, training within a top 6 Accountancy Firm
• Have audit experience with large clients
• Be familiar with IFRS
• Have the ability to work with key stakeholders, provide solutions and add value to projects
• Drive improvements and add value
• Be a team play
• Be hands on and keen to get stuck in
• Be ambitious, motivated and keen to progress their career
