To ensure the accurate recording, processing and reporting of the organisation's finances and to manage members of the finance team. Candidate will also oversee the preparation of statutory and management accounts and complete other financial reporting requirements.

Client is a fast-growth Not for Profit based in Cheshire, looking for a Finance Manager to oversee a small team within the organisation.
Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Finance team, including annual appraisals, target setting and monitoring, with regular one to ones to ensure all processing and reporting requirements are met within specified timescales,
- Overseeing management accounts function, including budget monitoring and forecasting, ensuring all control accounts are reconciled.
- Liaising with the Operations team on preparation, monitoring and forecasting of the capital programme budget.
- Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Preparing the draft annual budget, liaising with senior staff across the organisation to do so.
- Assisting the Corporate Services Director in the preparation of long term business plans.
- Attend Leadership and Operational meetings as necessary.
- Co-ordinate and develop benchmarking systems, including the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual returns.
- Assist in the preparation of reports to the Board.
- Liaise with the Corporate Services Director with regard to developing systems and procedures to ensure efficient processing within the Finance department.
- Other such duties that may, from time to time, be assigned by the Corporate Services Director or Chief Executive.
Profile
Ideal Candidate Will:
- Possess a relevant professional CCAB qualification or equivalent.
- Have a proven track record of successfully managing a small team.
- Have a successful track record of maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
- Have demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining management reporting and system processes/procedures.
- Possess knowledge and experience of IT software
Job Offer
On offer for the candidate is:
