We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with exceptional attention to detail to work in our internal reporting department. Reporting to Head of operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that the back office within EPE Administration runs smoothly and both internal and external clients’ expectations are met. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible in your approach and be an excellent problem solver. The position will involve a wide range of tasks centred around the company’s internal processes. The role can develop to include more accounting aspects depending on the individuals task management skills, willingness and ability to learn.

Critical tasks 

  • To provide critical financial support to senior stake holders and Group directors with regular cash flow. 
  • Daily/weekly updates/Flash report to management
  • Develop and produce consolidated monthly management accounts for the group, including detailed cash flow analysis. 
  • Provide monthly operational and commercial statistics and quarterly financial information to the Group 
  • Liaison with external auditors during quarterly and annual external audits and tax consultants for corporation tax queries. 
  • Handling of Quarter end and year end audits of listed funds and companies, preparing the Audit pack and handling the Audit queries, attending calls with partners 
  • Conduct regular balance sheet reviews with the subsidiary finance teams, and propose remedial actions where necessary. 
  • Responsible for ensuring compliances including VAT and FCA filings 
  • Preparation of XBRL for submission on companies house 
  • Handling day to day queries of clients and operation 
  • Drive best practice in statutory reporting for both group and subsidiary accounts. 
  • Provide technical support across the company, including FRS102 and tax. 
  • Support the group budgeting and forecasting processes. 
  • Portray a positive image of the company and its values in a professional manner at all times.

Professional profile 

  • ACA qualified preferably with a large firm although not entirely necessary.
  • Financial accounting experience through their first line job role. 
  • Previous experience of preparing accounts packs. 
  • A track record of producing good quality accurate work. 
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines. 
  • High attention to detail. 
  • Good Excel knowledge 
  • Keen for a challenge in a hard working environment. 
  • Ability to analyse detailed information. 
  • Excellent written communication skills. 
  • Ability to challenge when necessary.

  • UK Shift-12.30PMto 9 PM
