We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with exceptional attention to detail to work in our compliance reporting department. Reporting to Head of operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that the business verticals within EPE Administration runs smoothly and both internal and external clients’ expectations are met. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible in your approach and be an excellent problem solver. The position will involve a wide range of tasks centred around managing onshore clients deliverables through team along with managing direct communication with clients while on boarding and delivery. The role can develop to include more accounting aspects depending on the individuals task management skills, willingness and ability to learn.
Critical tasks
- Managing business verticals/quality of deliverables
- Managing clients with minimal support/supervision from onshore team
- Reviewing the work done by the team members which includes
- Monthly Bookkeeping
- Management accounts
- Preparation of monthly & quarterly Vat returns & their filings to HMRC.
- Preparation of accounts & Corporation tax returns o Filing of Accounts & CT600 to Companies House & HMRC o Preparation of cross-referenced working paper file (physical/scanned)
- Preparation of excel schedules and workings to support financial statements.
- Resolution of client queries related to compliances
- • Dealing with the senior managers at UK for the workflow & job discussion
- Overview and support of commercial activity and business development
- Setting the targets for team members & preparing the KPI of client reporting and commercials for the management to review.
- Conducting the training sessions for new team members.
- Preparation of XBRL for submission on companies house
- Handling day to day queries of clients and operation
- Drive best practice in statutory reporting for both group and subsidiary accounts.
- Portray a positive image of the company and its values in a professional manner at all times.
Professional profile
- ACA qualified preferably with a large firm although not entirely necessary.
- Financial accounting experience through their first line job role.
- Previous experience of preparing accounts packs.
- A track record of producing good quality accurate work.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Good Excel knowledge
- Keen for a challenge in a hard working environment.
- Ability to analyse detailed information.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to challenge when necessary.
