We are looking for candidate to join an international Investment company with a background in financial administration and accounts payable.
Purpose of your role
The role of the Financial Administrator will cover all aspects of financial and real estate administration and the successful
applicant will work closely with members of the operations team and the broader portfolio management team.
Key Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
Management invoice payment and settlement process
Support bank reconciliation process for European Real Estate Funds
Provide efficient accounting and administration services in relation to real estate assets
Provide responsive service and support the portfolio management team and other stakeholders
Ensure integrity of property information such as valuation, income and expense within the financial reporting systems
Help to manage workflow tasks within Fidelity such as new property setup, lease management and vacancies
Experience and Qualifications Required
General administration and financial skills
Reconciliation and investigation skills are essential
An ability to work cross-team and cross-department and influence others will be important within this role
Good communication skills are critical and the candidate must be able to articulate ideas coherently to colleagues,
third party vendors, internal customers and external clients
Attention to detail and a good work ethic is important
Good interpersonal skills as the position requires daily contact with Portfolio Managers, Research Professionals,
Financial and other Administrative staff
Ability to work independently and take initiative as needed, to manage daily tasks and special projects
An individual who is professional, pro-active with a high level of personal integrity and focus on the customer is crucial
Assertive and self motivated and an ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively
A true team player who will be happy to volunteer to assist colleagues when necessary
Utmost discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Desirable skills
Knowledge of investment administration within a real estate or custody environment
A firm grounding in accountancy or experience gained through further study
Experience of using Real Estate Accounting Systems such as Horizon / Qube
