Our client are a group of companies based with their Head Office based in Swaffham, with businesses based over the East Anglian region the finance team is based in their small and friendly office in Swaffham.
Due to growth in the business they are looking to recruit a hardworking, personable and efficient all round Bookkeeper to join their team.
A full time role paying up to £23,000 reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include
Running of the weekly and monthly payroll for up to 300 staff
Assisting with other staff in the End to end control of the Sales and Purchase Ledger
Bank and Credit Card reconciliations
Assisting with the preparation on month end paperwork
Processing staff expenses
Assisting with VAT returns
Due to the office being a small team with some part time staff you’ll be required to
undertake some adhoc administration duties
Person specifications
You will have held a varied Accounts role in the past
Payroll experience is a must
You’ll have good communication skills and be able to work as a team and not mind
mucking in
Good computer skills and ideally some experience working on a mainstream accounts
package
