My client, a long established engineering/manufacturing business are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant
Up to 23K gross pa
AAT qualification desirable but not essential
Good experience essential
Tasks include:
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide support during annual (and interim) audits.
Reconciliation of control accounts and preparation of supporting schedules and working papers.
Analysis of all profit and loss items on an ongoing basis for company and strategic business units.
Taking the accounting lead for a small independent business unit
Maintaining fixed assets register
Providing daily support and ad-hoc assistance to accounts payable/receivable and financial controller.
To provide cover for team in the event of absence/holiday
