Bookkeeper
My successful and established client within manufacturing is seeking a Book Keeper to join their close-knit team. The role will suit somebody who enjoys a busy but manageable workload and can work well on their own. The role will require you to work Monday- Friday, 8-5pm with an early 4pm finish on Fridays!
Main Duties of the Bookkeeper:
• Providing management accounts monthly
• Manage cash flow and supplier payments
• Purchase ledger
• Understand the stock control process within the business.
• Liaise with credit control
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Bank reconciliation
• General ad hoc duties as and when required
Skills required for the Bookkeeper include:
• Experience in a very similar role OR relevant qualifications
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial
• Close attention to detail
• Fully computer literate in all MS packages, including Word and Excel
• Due to the location of the role, local to Diss, you will require your own transport.
In return for your hard work:
• You will be paid a competitive salary of £22k
• You will be given training to assist you in your role
• Early finish on a Friday
