Accountant

CRST Malone is seeking a self-motivated and results-oriented Accountant to be located in Vestavia, AL. Summary : The Accountant is responsible for general finance, accounting, and reporting activities to help timely close out of books each month. Essential Responsibilities Administer financial aspects of lease purchase program, including reconciliation to general ledger, quoting and processing buyouts and new contracts, and monthly/quarterly reporting. Balance cash accounts for all Malone accounts, and assigned general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries to record monthly activity. Back up Controller for month end close out. Manage large databases with the use of excel and other software. Generate other financial reports and special projects as assigned. File sales tax returns by deadlines. Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned. Requirements 1-2 years experience in a related field Bachelors in Accounting Strong Excel and other computer skills CRST is an EOE.
