Roles & responsibilities
• Implement procurement policies for OCBC Malaysia to ensure compliance
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, build supply base for procuring products and services
• Work with requesting business units to finalize purchase specifications and requirements
• Identifying cost reduction and spend analysis
• Source for competitive bids, quotations and proposals
• Conduct assessment on supply market for all CAPEX/OPEX items
• Assess the competitiveness on the same product/ technology/ demand
• Perform feasibility study of alternative sourcing, products and services
• Conduct negotiation together with Vendor Management Unit with suppliers on pricing, product, service level and value added service
• Work closely with Vendor Management Unit and Legal Department to generate agreement for the awarded supplier
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Relevant degree, preferably those with knowledge in FI industry
• At least 10 years' experience in Procurement, especially with category management and regional exposure. Experience in strategic sourcing
• Excellent business partnering skill with successful record in influencing stakeholders for decision making
• Strong knowledge in IT and Non IT equipment's demand, market and supply management
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions
• Added advantage for candidates with digital savviness
