Our client is an well established, well capitalised and rapidly growing financial services group with offices through Australia and Asia. With a substantial loan portfolio they are one of the biggest operators in Australia's alternative finance market, with ambitions for substantial future growth. The firm is private equity backed and with significant capital has an ambitious and exciting expansion plan. Part of this includes hiring an experienced, yet entrepreneurial, CFO to join the leadership team and help drive the expansion program.

As a strategic and driven CFO, you will be joining join a fast paced financial services group in a leadership capacity. This is an Executive level role where you will be ‘2IC' to the CEO. You will lead a team across finance, legal, compliance, risk and treasury - and be comfortable with expanding/building the team to support a business with significant growth ambitions, backed by the capital to execute on these. You will play a key part in overseeing the high growth aspirations of the company. In terms of leadership you will actively engage investors, funders and the private equity owners.

Tertiary qualified with technical accountancy qualifications (CA, ACA, CIMA), you have a proven capacity to lead and motivate a finance and wider team, with experience in the financial services sector in a leadership role.

You will have experience in all aspects of finance including internal and external reporting, tax, cashflow management, treasury, financial analysis, and compliance. It is also hopeful that you also have a strong working understanding of treasury, funding, and securitisation. Any exposure to M&A transactions, high growth businesses, operating at Board level and private equity will be highly regarded. You will have the ability and confidence to work with individuals across all levels of the business, as well as the gravitas to communicate and present to the Board and Shareholders.
